Senate President Bukola Saraki has come under
attack for faulting the categorisation of the
Indigenious People of Biafra (IPOB) as a
terrorist organisation.
Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, chief whip of the house
of representatives, said the comment credited
to the former Kwara State governor portrays
him as a controversial leader.
Recall Saraki had on Monday, September 18,
opposed the declaration, describing it as
unconstitutional.
He added that said due process was not
followed.
But Doguwa dismissed Saraki’s statement,
saying “he can’t cry more than the bereaved”.
